GLDA.Na4 Introduction

GLDA.Na4 is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid at room temperature. It is a new type of amino acid chelating agent synthesized from natural glutamic acid, with excellent metal ion chelating ability and extremely high biodegradability. According to the OECD 301B standard, it can be completely degraded within 28 days. GLDA.Na4, as a green alternative to traditional chelating agents such as EDTA and NTA, is widely used in daily chemical, cleaning, water treatment and other fields.

1. Used in household detergent formulations: It can chelate calcium and magnesium ions in laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, and automatic dishwashing detergent, improve cleaning power, and prevent fabric hardening.
2. In the field of personal care products: added to shampoo and shower gel as chelating agents and anti-corrosion enhancers, the amount of main preservatives can be reduced.
3. In industrial cleaning: CIP cleaning, metal surface treatment, and boiler descaling,GLDA.Na4 is resistant to high temperature and strong alkali, and can effectively remove metal oxide deposits.
4. Water treatment: Oilfield water treatment and circulating cooling water systems can chelate metal ions such as iron and copper to prevent scaling.
5. Pulp, paper and textile industry: As a chelating agent, it prevents metal ion catalytic oxidation reactions.

Q1:Is GLDA available in powder form?

A1: GLDA has strong hygroscopicity, and its solid powder is unstable and prone to clumping. Currently, it is mainly in liquid form and has strong adaptability. You can purchase a small amount for testing.

Q2:Is GLDA better than EDTA?

A2: The chelating ability of the two products is similar, but GLDA is superior in terms of environmental protection and safety.

Q3:Besides purity, what other aspects can be used to judge the quality of GLDA?
