Experiments show that Cargliptin, as a new type of lipidated amylin analogue, can target AMYR and then affect the heterodimer of calcitonin G protein-coupled receptor (CTR) and its receptor activity modification protein, and finally improve weight control, and may have a synergistic effect with other therapies (such as glucagon-like peptide -1 receptor agonists). In phase 2 clinical trials; Cagrilintide peptide(4.5mg) may improve the curative effect of obesity, and the weight loss effect can reach 10.8% in 26 weeks. At present, Caglitide raw material is undergoing clinical trials as a non-selective AMYR and CTR agonist. Some countries have approved it as an alternative product to treat obesity and type II diabetes.
